- Not for children. Namaskara is not directed at children. Under the DPDP Act a child is anyone under 18.
- We do not knowingly collect children's personal data. The pilot is invite-only and each account is an adult's mobile number.
- Age gate at sign-up. Everyone creating an account must confirm “I am 18 or older”. Without it, the app and our server refuse to create the account.
- Verifiable parental consent. If we ever need to process a child's personal data, we will first obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, as the DPDP Rules 2025 require.
- No tracking, no targeted ads. We never track, behaviourally monitor or target advertising at children. We have no advertising at all.
- Found a child's account? Tell our Grievance Officer, Asa K. Ragu, at info@namaskara.org or through the form. We will erase it within 30 days.
