Coming to Google Play. Worth the wait.

Downloads are paused while we prepare the Google Play release. Join early access to hear first.

Where things stand

One app, done properly.

We have stopped handing out the test version so that everyone gets the same checked, signed app from Google Play, with automatic updates.

In preparation

Android, on Google Play

Every improvement from the test version, packaged as an Android App Bundle so your phone downloads only what it needs. Updates arrive through Google Play.

Smaller download for your phone
Automatic, signed updates
Same scam protection in 19 languages

Paused

Namaskara on the web

The browser version is switched off for now. It will come back after the Android release, once it can be served from servers we fully control.

Not yet

iPhone

There is no iPhone app yet. We will build it after the Android release is stable. Join early access and we will tell you when it is ready.

Early access

Be first in line.

The first group on Google Play will be small, so we can fix problems quickly. Families, housing societies, clinics and co-operative banks are welcome.

Send us an email with the subject “Early access”.
Tell us your city, your language and roughly how many people would join with you.
When the Play Store listing opens for testers, we reply with the link. Nothing else, ever.

Email hello@namaskara.org

We use your email only to send the invitation. We never ask for an OTP, a payment or your bank details.

A fake KYC message flagged as a possible scam in Namaskara

Right now, nobody can send you a real Namaskara app file. We are not giving out APK files or download links on WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or any other website. If someone sends you “Namaskara.apk” or a link to “update” or “activate” Namaskara, it is fake. Do not install it, and report it at Report fraud or call 1930.

How to spot the real app

Only from Google Play. When it launches, the only real source is the Google Play Store. We will link to it from this page.
The name is Namaskara, with the round indigo logo shown at the top of this page.
It never asks for your OTP, card number or bank password. Namaskara blocks those from being sent, even by you.
On launch day we publish the package name and the signing certificate fingerprint here, so anyone can check that the app on their phone is ours.

Already have the test version?

Thank you for testing. When the Google Play version is ready, we will write to pilot members and ask you to install it from Google Play. Until then, do not install Namaskara from a file anyone forwards to you, even a friend.
