"Safest" is a claim. We'll prove it in public.

We only say what our evidence supports. Below: the claims we are allowed to make today, what each safety feature really does, the dates we answer to, and an empty scoreboard we will fill in as the numbers come in.

The claims ladder

Four steps. We are on the first.

We climb a step only once its evidence is published. Our advertising follows the same rule.

  1. We are hereL0

    "Built to stop fraud"

Positioning only. Backed by our public charter and open architecture notes.

  2. L1

    "The messenger where fraud fails"

Needs verified-sender pilots, the "Is this real?" check in 6 or more languages and one-tap 1930. Then our first transparency report.

  3. L2

    "India's most scam-aware messenger"

Needs measured detection and false-alarm rates, plus an annual external audit and a quarterly safety index.

  4. L3

"Safest messenger in India, as measured by …"

Needs an independent auditor to certify the metrics and the comparison method, with the full dataset published.

Fraud type → our control

Every scam pattern, matched to a defence.

Ten safety pillars

What we're building, and how far along.

P1

Identity anchored to your SIM

Your account stays tied to your active SIM, as DoT will require from 1 January 2027. Sign-in still needs your password, so a SIM alone opens nothing.

Next · before 31 Dec 2026
P2

Encryption you can check

End-to-end encryption for every chat, file and call set-up today. Still to come: forward secrecy, reproducible builds and key transparency.

Built Ratchet planned
P3

Scam checks on your phone

Every message is checked on the device, never in our cloud. Next: forward anything to "Is this real?"

Built "Is this real?" planned
P4

Verified senders

Banks and government bodies get verified names that match their caller-ID (CNAP) and SMS identities. Businesses can never message you first.

Next · pilots
P5

No impersonation

Reserved names are blocked at sign-up. Look-alike alerts and fast takedowns follow.

Built Alerts planned
P6

Report, then act

Reporting someone blocks them for you. Three separate reports restrict the account. 1930 is one tap away. Next: a pre-filled cybercrime.gov.in complaint.

Built Pre-fill next
P7

Protection at the money moment

Secrets can't be sent, screen-share apps see nothing, and suspicious UPI requests are flagged. A "pause before you pay" prompt is next.

Built
P8

Family and elder mode

With the elder's consent, a guardian gets a summary of scam alerts. Unusual money requests trigger a prompt.

Planned
P9

Safer groups

Group rules members agree to, strangers limited to three messages, and no links or files from people you haven't accepted.

Built
P10

Protection beyond our app

Our on-device scam checker, offered to banking apps. No data leaves the phone.

Planned
Compliance calendar

The dates we answer to.

  1. DPDP Rules 2025 notified

Consent notices, purpose-limited consent and a named grievance officer are being built in.

  2. Caller-name display (CNAP) goes live

Our verified-sender registry will use the same KYC-backed names.

  3. SIM binding enforced

Accounts must stay linked to an active SIM.

  4. Full DPDP compliance

Consent manager, breach notification, and age-appropriate design for under-18s.

  5. IT Rules 2021 and CERT-In directions

A grievance officer from day one, a 6-hour incident-reporting clock, and monthly reports published before we are legally required to.

The "fraud fails" scoreboard

Accountability before scale.

We publish the scoreboard now, while it is still empty. The first numbers will come from our pilots, and an external party will check how we measure them.

Trust Charter v1

Six promises, each with a test.

An outside party will re-audit these every year. If we ever change one, this page will show the date and the reason.

01

No ads, no selling data

Test: zero ad or tracking SDKs in the app, which anyone can check in the client code.

02

Safety is never a paid extra

Test: every protection on this page works on the free app.

03

We don't read your messages

Test: end-to-end encryption, and scam checks that run on your phone. Our release gate scans the server for plaintext.

04

Businesses never message you first

Test: the verified sender registry has no "start conversation" permission.

05

No backdoors

Test: we decline any funding or contract that requires monitoring. Government requests appear in our transparency reports.

06

No money from fraud-adjacent businesses

Test: no betting, predatory loan-app or crypto-promotion partners, listed openly.

Found a weakness? Read our disclosure policy or security.txt. Safety features reduce risk but cannot remove it. A missing warning means "unknown", never "safe".
